Understanding Our Program Fees

All Kaleidoscope teachers accept charter funds. We are vendors with the following charters: Clarksville, Feather River, Cottonwood, Harvest Ridge, Heritage Peaks, Horizon, South Sutter, Sutter Peak, and Twin Ridges.

If your charter is not listed let us know and we can work on adding it.

If you plan to use charter funds to pay your child’s Class Fees, YOU MUST SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR FUNDS TO YOUR CHARTER BEFORE CLASSES BEGIN (see below for a specific breakdown of vendors and classes). If your purchase order is not received on or before the first day of classes, your child’s teacher may not allow your child to attend classes.

Program Fees Breakdown

Because our program fees are unique, we would like to explain in more detail how it works.

Registration fee (non-refundable): $45 per semester, per child, per teacher, to be paid at time of registration. This fee covers our administrative time processing registration forms, payments, and any other costs associated with the registration process. Charter funds will not be accepted for this fee.

Class Fee: $765 Charter Funds Pay/$660 Private Pay…per child, per class day, per semester, with the following in place:

If you are using charter funds:

  • A maximum of $600 from your charter may be used to offset the Class Fee cost, per child, per class day, per semester.

    • This is billed at $600 per semester OR $120 per month for five months depending on your child’s teacher and how they set up their vendor payment through each charter (see below for a specific breakdown of vendors and classes).

  • Families using charter funds will be asked to pay a $165 semester start up payment, per child, per class day, the first week of each semester. Charter funds will not be accepted for this payment.

    • The $600 billed to the charter plus the $165 semester start up fee totals the $765 charter fund payment fee per child, per class day, per semester.

  • If for any reason your charter does not pay their portion of semester Class Fees, parents are responsible for paying any unpaid balance.

If you are paying privately:

  • You may make payments in three installments of $220 each due the first three months of classes for the corresponding semester via cash, check, or Venmo.

  • OR you may pay in full at the beginning of the corresponding semester via cash, check, or Venmo.

  • Families who pay privately receive a discount of $105, bringing the Class Fee to $660, per child, per class day, per semester. Payment plans are available, as stated above with the three installments of $220 each and special circumstances can be discussed with your child’s teacher.

Vouchers for Charter Pay and Vendor Information:

Classes billed to Kristin M Evans and/or Kaleidoscope Enrichment:

  • Sprouts (4.5–5 yrs)

  • Voyagers (6–8 yrs)

  • Discoverers (Mon or Tues ONLY, 8–10 yrs)

  • Innovators (10–12 yrs)

Classes with separate voucher processes and are billed to these individual teachers:

  • Ms. Jessica’s Little Pioneers (5–6 yrs)

  • Ms. Cindy’s Creative Explorers (Wed/Thurs ONLY, 8–10 yrs)
