Tales to Tools: Read, Build, Fix, Create, Explore
In Tales to Tools, storybook adventures come alive as kids become curious makers, problem-solvers, and hands-on creators. Each week, children explore stories where characters face challenges, invent clever solutions, or solve tricky problems. Then take those lessons into their own hands. Kids learn tool safety, basic construction, sewing, measuring, and other practical life skills, while taking things apart to see how they work, designing their own creations, and experimenting with solutions. Every class encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning, from repairing a toy or designing a mini invention to building a structure or testing a new idea. With imagination and hands-on exploration at the center, kids grow confidence, curiosity, and real-world skills, all while having a blast bringing stories to life.
Class Days: Mondays or Tuesdays with Ms. Kristin
Class Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Duration: 14 weeks

Shaping Earth: Explore Our World
Get ready to explore the wonders of our planet in Shaping Earth: Explore Our World! Journey across the 7 continents and 5 oceans, uncovering the landforms that make each region unique, from towering mountains and winding rivers to plateaus, peninsulas, deserts, glaciers, and more. Discover how these landforms are formed through forces like erosion, volcanic activity, and tectonic shifts, and investigate the processes that continuously shape our ever-changing Earth. Through hands-on, creative activities, students will build, model, and experiment with Earth’s features, sparking curiosity, observation skills, and a deeper understanding of the dynamic world beneath our feet.
Class Days: Wednesdays with Ms. Alesia or Thursdays with Ms. Alesia/Ms. Kristin
